Can Streets teach? Peace making?

100 locations world wide all connect by a global App, of one mile long art monument walkway installations of 250 bronze plaques, each of a different peacemaker with their accomplishments.

Peace beyond borders symbolically for the 21st century, and peaceful place making in urban and rural settings, with major benefits for each location (tourism, community building, etc)

Thus 100miles4peace Peace walkways App, would then allow discovery of the bios of each individual peacemaker, and globally interconnect and promote all the walkways plus much more. The App is soon to include a feature for example which allows peace lakers a chance to list on the Google back “One Billion acts for peace project” their act of visiting or walking the the mile long walk way installs.

The creator is also a Ted Talks finalist 2016 UCLA, on “Wise place making, smarter cities to human wise cities”.

Teens use New Make Peace symbol in school murals

Teens in Glendale middle school, Salt Lake city, Utah have adopted the new Make peace symbol into their school murals. Alex Martinez stated: "It's cool, it says something new for everyone, that's why we decided to paint it and spread it around everywhere". Additional school mural projects throughout the city and suburbs are also under way to inspire proactive peace making and to ask others to "make peace".

The Make Peace movement though has spread throughout the world especially with street and graffiti artists, from cities like New York to Miami, it has taken on a life of it own, from artists, streets, knitting circles, DIY crafters, the new make peace symbol is being adopted to send a strong and clear message of hope. While in the Middle east still struggling on it's path to democracy it has become in the words of one middle eat street artist: "Soft political cover and deniability".

MAKE PEACE MOVEMENT EXPLODES!

Street Artists world wide use New Make Peace symbol everywhere!


The Make Peace Movement has been born, starting as aproject, then becoming a offical event on March, 23, 2013, yes, make peace day and now a global street art movement all in less than nine months is amazing. Make Peace across all social media has over 17,000 on line followers, but it is the thousands of global street and graffiti artist now tagging, painting walls, creating street art adopting the new universal make peace symbol,that are rapidly changing it's massive exposure and demographic.

Already a Major Five Pointz, the mecca of all street and graffiti art in the world located in New York City has kicked off the first of over 35 street art paint events to take place in New York alone and culminating in a major art exhibit of works from all over the world in September 2013.

This exhibition then moves from New York to other major U.S. cities, adding more street artist works as it travels. Then it goes to India, where over 3500 street artists one of the world's largest groups are at work on, you guessed it, Make Peace symbol street artworks.
