How far have we come as human beings when we cannot comprehend all the issues this stupid yet free speech protected video portrays?

"Innocence of Muslims" is the Muhammad Movie by Sam Bacile that caused Muslims to kill United States ambassador, J Christopher Stevens and provoked world reactions, and show the level of misunderstanding, and even the lack of effort to understand by western countries, the world and events that are happening now.

Religion and religious myths have been used for extremism all over the world, from Nazism, to today, and to even justify to the creators of this video, who only muddy the waters, provoke others, and live in the deeper issues of "religious and cultural self righteousness and superiority".

Issues such as religion as a unifying force, but with the darker side of "self righteous drives and beliefs”, many of which cast us back to the 15th century. Asking us living now, to live in pure dogma, and extreme doctrine not just in the Arab Muslim world but within western society. All show themselves, as extreme ignorant of the range of human life needs, from education, economic equality, freedom, democracy, versus bitter resentment for dictatorships, demonizing of other cultures, economic resources (Oil) exploitation etc. which shape the making of peace anywhere.

Where do we begin to find understanding is all these opposing forces, in culture, in societal histories, and “hate mongering”? Or this this a basic human weakness of fear, of what and who we do not understand, and lashing out at any and all targets of convenience our very nature?

One can easily see the issues and vast gulf of confusion in this sampling of  "Innocence of Muslims" YouTube video comments which follow, senseless attack after attack on each other.
