Can U.S. ever make PEACE in Middle east?

Peacemaker news:
Sept. 12, 2012

The U.S. has lost tremendous ground because of its vast war efforts in the middle east. It is no longer able even after the democratic peace efforts in Egypt, Libya and the war in Syria, to find it's way to the peace table. Torn between its military and oil resource needs, it is unable to connect to events in all of these countries or take a strong enough stand on the side of the people versus the military and dictator governments.
Caught being a war monger, and supporter of dictatorships, the U.S. Voice gets lost in all these world changing events. Even discussions of U.S. style democracy replacing these dictators, has challenged them because of the U.S. desire for the weakening influence of pro Islamic groups in any government they support. For the middle east democracy without Islamism is impossible. Yet for the U.S.the choice in each country has become, U.S. controlled democracy protecting and fostering U.S. business deals, versus backlash back at them from the new democratic rulers, seeking to assert themselves..

Recent events follow this dilemma:

U.S. Ambassador to Libya Killed in Attack; Cairo Protestors Storm U.S. Embassy

September 12, 2012 9:58 am

First, Egyptian demonstrators stormed Cairo’s U.S. Embassy yesterday, pulling down the American flag in protest of a film that is insulting to the prophet Mohammad. According to USA Today, protestors tried to replace the American flag with a black flag saying, “There is no god but Allah and Mohammad is his messenger.”
Ahram Online, Egypt’s largest news organization, says the “controversial film is reportedly being produced by US-based Coptic-Christian Egyptians” with support from the Terry Jones Church in the U.S. (Terry Jones is the controversial evangelical pastor who threated to burn a Quran in public.)
After the demonstration, the U.S. Embassy in Cairo offered a statement/pseudo-apology saying they “condemn the continuing efforts by misguided individuals to hurt the religious feelings of Muslims.”

Then, late last night, the United States Ambassador to Libya, Christopher Stevens, was killed in a rocket attack in the city of Benghazi. The attacks, which President Obama condemned as “outrageous,” also took the lives of three other men, and the consulate was “burned and ransacked.”
According to CNN:
An “angry crowd” marched on the consulate on Tuesday, furious about an online film considered offensive to Islam, Libya’s Deputy Interior Minister Wanis al-Sharif said Wednesday. The U.S. mission in Egypt was also attacked Tuesday in response to the film.
Libya’s Prime Minister Abdurrahim el-Keib apologized “to the American people and the government, and also to the rest of the world” for the “cowardly criminal act.”

To add to all of this, President Obama will not be meeting with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu during his trip to the U.S., marking the first time this has happened since Obama took office. According to Bloomberg.com, an Israeli official said Israel approached the White House two weeks ago to schedule a visit, but the White House said the president’s schedule “wouldn’t permit a meeting.”
National Security Council spokesman Tommy Veitor denied that speculation, saying, “They’re simply not in the city at the same time.” President Obama did spend an hour on the phone with Netanyahu last night, and the Israeli Prime Minister will meet with Secretary of State Hillary Clinton during his visit.
Fueling conservative speculation is the fact that President Obama can squeeze an appearance on David Letterman’s Late Show into his schedule next week, but can’t find the time to meet with Prime Minister Netanyahu.
Mitt Romney was not very happy with the response shown by the U.S., saying, “I’m outraged by the attacks on American diplomatic missions in Libya and Egypt and by the death of an American consulate worker in Benghazi.  It’s disgraceful that the Obama Administration’s first response was not to condemn attacks on our diplomatic missions, but to sympathize with those who waged the attacks.”
This is nothing less than terrifying. Anti-American demonstrations in Libya and Cairo resulted in the deaths of four people including the U.S. ambassador to Libya, the U.S. embassy simply said they “condemn” efforts to hurt the religious feelings of Muslims, Obama can’t find time to meet with Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu, all while Netanyahu wonders what it will take for action to be taken against Iran. Let’s all hope we can find peace before a war erupts.
