Code for peace is calling all Geeks, world wide! Every non violent protest, starts with organizing, communication, and using technology which is often hacked, or difficulty to use. So code for peace, is setting up software assistance, help for all peaceful organizations, in relief work, or in protest.
Think of organizing thousand during a relief efforts, monitoring all their loses, family ties, and much more in their lives, somewhere where resources like this do not exist? That is what can take place with easy to use software, millions helped each and everyday in some way, and if the call comes for something new, a new problem, then solutions through Codfe for peace will readily be made available. Then there is the "Bad guys", and the need for monitoring corruption, war crimes, human rights violations and getting the word out to the world of the horrors and crimes. So there is so much to do and many are needed.
